Watched the city slowly light up as our boat passed Dolmabahce Palace and the Maiden’s Tower, and that view alone made the night. I joined as part of a large group, and it was comfortable to sit outside in the warm summer breeze without needing a jacket. The meze platter was fresh, and the grilled sea bream was cooked just right, with a nice hint of charcoal. The whirling dervish show felt very peaceful, then the folk dances changed the mood completely. Only small issue was a short queue for the return transfer, but overall the evening felt very well organized.
